Actively promote administrative reform in the Center’s activities

On August 28, 2024, at the 2nd floor hall of the Inter-Agency Medical Area, the International Health Quarantine Center organized a training session on prevention and control of monkeypox (Mpox) to improve knowledge and skills in monitoring and preventing monkeypox for all staff at the Center, according to Plan No. 517/KH-KDYT dated August 26, 2024 on training on prevention and control of monkeypox (Mpox) in 2024.

At the training session, doctors and medical staff of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment provided information on the symptoms, transmission methods, and prevention of monkeypox – a disease that is on the rise worldwide. All staff were instructed on how to identify the disease, preventive measures, and handling procedures when there are suspected cases. In addition, messages, recommendations, and instructions on monitoring monkeypox at border gates were also disseminated.

In addition to specialized medical content, the training session also focused on administrative procedure reform, aiming to improve operational efficiency and better serve the people. Dr. Le Van Tung suggested that the Faculty of Medical Sciences and Health Management and the Faculty of Laboratory and Laboratory Technology actively research and propose solutions to simplify administrative procedures for businesses and individuals using the service, in order to improve work efficiency and satisfaction with the unit’s services, contributing to protecting public health and building trust among the people.

In addition, within the framework of the training session, the staff were also informed about the Khanh Hoa Province Online Public Administration Service Center. Dr. Nguyen Hien, Deputy Director of the Center, requested the staff at the Center to thoroughly understand the access and use of Khanh Hoa Province’s online public services, VNeID application, etc. to promote the digital transformation process of the province and the unit.
