Organizational structure of the provincial International Health Quarantine Center Khanh Hoa is implemented according to the provisions of Decision No. 14/2007/QD-BYT dated January 30, 2007 of the Minister of Health stipulating the functions, duties, powers and organizational structure of the International Health Quarantine Center; including the following departments 1. Organizational departments Organization – Administration – Planning – Finance Department: - Management of organization and staff; implement reward and commendation regimes reward and discipline in accordance with the provisions of law; - Implement administrative tasks for daily operation; - Organize seminars, trainings, and educational and health communication programs on medical quarantine; - Manage and maintain Center's assets; - Develop monthly, quarterly and yearly plans of the Center; organize preliminary and summaries of plans' implementation; - Synthesize and estimate drugs, supplies, chemicals and necessary equipment for the operation of the center and border gates; - Manage and allocate funds according to the approved plan payment obligations in accordance with the provisions of law; - Synthesize the activities of the Center, collect information, analyze data; comply with regulations on statistics and reports. 2. Specialized departments of the Center a) Medical Quarantine – Health Management Department - Carry out surveillance activities for infectious diseases, risk factors opportunities for public health as prescribed by law; - Implement medical examination and issuance of certificates to medical quarantine subjects according to current regulations; - Carry out inspection and supervision of the implementation of medical quarantine measures economy for service establishments providing food, beverages and domestic water in border gate area; - Implement vaccination and issue vaccination certificates for subjects subject to medical quarantine according to regulations; - Coordinating with relevant agencies to manage and monitor the health of employees visitors entering Vietnam and Vietnamese living abroad for more than 1 year when returning home according to the provisions of law; b) Department of Laboratory - Medical treatment - Carrying out tests in the field of medical quarantine according to regulations of Law; - Implement Rapid Test techniques at the border gate to detect the pathogens such as viruses, toxic chemicals, dyes, molds, etc. in food products and other tests related to the Health Quarantine work; - Implement measures to prevent the host, vectors of disease transmission, animals carriers of infectious diseases, risk factors for public health in the border gate area as prescribed by law; - Implement medical treatment measures for medical quarantine subjects under the current regulations.
