On August 31, 2022, the Department of Preventive Medicine disseminated media messages about monkeypox epidemic at domestic border gates. Earlier, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the Monkeypox outbreak a public health emergency of international concern. In order to strengthen communication on monkeypox prevention, the Ministry of Health has launched communication campaigns and specific plans to prevent and control monkeypox in Vietnam.
