On January 31, 2023, the Provincial People’s Committee issued Plan No. 740/KHUBND holding Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in Khanh Hoa Province in 2023 with the following objectives and requirements:
– Affirming the position, role and importance of books in improving knowledge, skills, developing thinking, educating and training personality; encouraging reading movement in the community, creating favorable reading environment; forming reading habit in the family, schools, organizations and contributing to build a learning society
– Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21) 2023 will be held along with activities in response to World Book and Copyright Day (April 23) to form a series of rich and diverse activities, but it must ensure practicality and effectiveness.
– Activities of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21) in the region Khanh Hoa province’s is organized to ensure meaning, safety, thrift, efficiency, cultural and educational value, and at the same time ensure the implementation of regulations in disease prevention and control.
With the slogan “Welcome to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day April 21”, Khanh Hoa International Health Quarantine Center wishes to encourage and develop the movement and reading habit in the unit, raise awareness among officials and employees about the great meaning and importance of reading for knowledge, skills and thinking development, education and personality training.
In addition, the Center wishes to honor readers, creators, publish, print, distribute, library, store, collect, and promote books and organizations and individuals that have contributed to the development of books. reading culture in the community; enhance the responsibility of individuals for building and developing reading culture in Vietnam in general and the unit in particular. The center has a traditional room to display traditional values along with books on a variety of topics for reading.
