The Circular clearly stipulates standards, essential facilities and equipment for medical quarantine at border gates, including:
1. The standards for essential facilities and equipment at the road border gate are specified in Appendix 1 issued together with this Circular.
2. Standards of essential facilities and equipment at railway border gates are specified in Appendix 2 issued with this Circular.
3. The standards of essential facilities and equipment at the airport border gate are specified in Appendix 3 issued together with this Circular.
4. Standards for essential facilities and equipment at the waterway border gate are specified in Appendix 4 issued with this Circular.
5. The standards of facilities and essential equipment in this Circular are specified for the border gate according to the type and size of the border gate. In case of an infectious disease epidemic, the border medical quarantine organization shall propose and supplement material foundations and equipment to ensure epidemic prevention and control under the guidance of competent agencies.
